Mission
The World Peace Mission, originally a division of the organization Message Mission, started functioning in 1995. As the very title suggests, the thrust of the Mission is the message of peace for the entire world. It became an independent unit in 2010 and subsequently registered itself as a charitable trust. The organisation's founder and managing trustee is Sunny Stephen. The driving motto of the organisation is 'One Heart One World'.
Under this organisation, a number of projects based on the Indian salvific systems of Jnana (knowledge), Bhakti (devotion) and Karma (action) to extend and spread the message of peace and to conscientize people have been set in motion. What prevent the reign of peace today among people are conventional considerations of environment, society, party, revolution, religion and caste. The effort is to drive home the message that these peripheral issues should not be allowed to sidetrack the victory march of peace. This message is effectively carried to society through audio-visual media, conscientization classes as well as through other hi-tech sources.
